Winston Salem Heart/Stroke Walk 2016

"This photo is of Team Headstrong Hearts for the 2016 Heart and Stroke Walk in Winston Salem NC. This was an important event to me because I am a heart disease survivor. I've had 3 Heart related surgeries in the last 3 years. I've had and LVAD implanted and was the first patient at Wake Forest Hospital to get an LVAD removed without a transplant. I've been so sick that I could never participate in the Walk. But this year I was well enough to attend. And I'm glad and grateful I did. " - Team Headstrong Hearts (Oct 29, 2016)
