"My sister died of Melanoma in March. She was 54 years old. Her friends, my other sister, my son, and I participated in the "Block Melanoma" walk on May 18, 2014 at the Milwaukee County Zoo in Milwaukee Wisconsin.
We called our team "Dizzy Blonde" because that was my sister's nickname affectionately given to her by our grandmother who also died of cancer.
The walk proceeds fund cancer research at our Medical College and hospitals in the area. We had a great time celebrating my sister's life. We wore our shirts to a local restaurant for lunch and we received a lot of positive comments and well wishes."
