"AVID is a program within the school setting, but many AVID staff members and students regard it as "Family!" Through AVID, "middle of the road," first generation, or otherwise disadvantages students are supported in being college ready, being exposed to college campuses, college applications, college course structure etc., that they may not otherwise have the opportunity to be exposed. On this day, our AVID group was holding our last fundraiser of the year, to support our End Of Year celebration, where we send our AVID Senior's off with a bang! "
