"This semester’s gear day for the Illinois Rowing team added a few welcomed additions from Custom Ink! These photos were taken in our erg room the day our new apparel arrived. We thought it would be fun to model the new gear in an impromptu photo-shoot for the rest of the team to preview.
The blue and orange t-shirts were an homage to our coach Bill's now (in)famous saying "Fire it up." Before some of the most physically brutal races & practices, our coach Bill will always tell us to "fire it up." So our team made shirts to celebrate his ominous saying in an (admittedly) obnoxious way.
In addition to our t-shirts, we had crew-neck sweatshirts with the classic interlocking crew oars made. We are confident no other BIG 10 team will have as great apparel for regattas! "
