"Triboji Beach is an 85 year old development along the shores of West Okoboji, a beautiful blue water lake in northwest Iowa. The development was a joint venture between the Sioux City Tribune and an ancestor of our family that farmed the land prior to the development. Our family still owns property among the original lots that were sold for $94 (with a $5 subscription to the Sioux CIty Journal). The matriarch pictured here with a few of her children and grandchildren is the granddaughter of the original developer.
