Treasured Chests - Dirty Girl 2014 (Chicago)

"Three years ago, my close friend was diagnosed with breast cancer. I started the team to compete in honor of her and the battle she was undergoing, as well as help raise funds for breast cancer research and treatment. From a team of seven, we grew to a team of 16 over the years, all of whom have been directly affected or know someone who has been affected by breast cancer. We continue to do the mud run in honor of our loved ones and to help raise awareness, but also do it for fun, health, and to push ourselves out of our "comfort zones." As our team grows each year, so does my pride in these amazing ladies! I am so honored to have them on my team. Custom Ink has helped me design the annual t-shirt for every mud run. Time and time again, the outcome has been amazing! We receive numerous compliments throughout the run, pre- and post-mud. We have made it tradition to wear our current tees for the race and our last year's tee post-race. The quality and customer service is top notch.
