The Power of Music

"Music bonds people from all different backgrounds. It fosters new friendships and rekindles old ones. This past marching band season, the Amador Valley flute section served as a home for 38 flutists. We went through laughter, tears, and sweat. Even though practice for 10 hours a week were tiring, we supported each other because we all know it would be worth it. By the end of our last competition, we were all in tears because we realized it was over. This is a picture taken the first day we got our flute shirts. It unifies us and officially completes the family picture. Our next season is starting in a couple weeks, and everyone is excited to be reunited as part of the “flute family.” We were so delighted with our order from CustomInk and our flute shirts served as a bridge for unity within our section, spreading the message that we were in this tough, yet rewarding activity together as a section.
