"On June 1, 2014, TeamSam (12 year old Sam and his best friends) participated in the JDRF Walk to Cure Juvenile Diabetes (also known as Type 1 Diabetes). This complex, life long condition, strikes children and young adults in the prime of their lives and requires complex monitoring and treatment with insulin on a daily basis.
