"We joined the 2014 NYC National Brain Tumor Society walk in memory of Ruth Pleasant. We lost her to this disease in 2009 and plan to remain a part of this organization's efforts to one day find a cure. Until that is done, we walk to support all of the survivors and their families in their fights the way those who came before us helped us in ours."
