Team PARS ROC Race - 80s Theme

"Our company, PARS generously pays for our (employees) entry fees and t-shirts for a fun, local race each year. My part is to organize and coordinate 25-35 employees, family, and friends that wish to participate. I've been spearheading these races for the last three years. The races encourage employees to get in shape and get involved with charitable events outside of work and themselves. This year's race was the ROC (Ridiculous Obstacle Course) Race (think: Wipeout) located at Great Park in Irvine on Saturday, May 3, 2014. The race proceeds go to the charity, Challenged Athletes Foundation (super awesome foundation especially given that we have quite a few high-level athletes at our company and some ex-NCAA athletes too). Our theme this year was based on the 80's. (best. decade. ever.) Anyway, the ladies cut the t-shirts 'Flash Dance' style and added very cliche' 80's accessories. We all had a BLAST!!! The best part was that I didn't have to stress out about the t-shirts especially since I had other things to worry about (ie; getting 30 people registered, getting their t-shirt sizes, getting them important race day information, making sure everyone shows up...on time...in the exact same place, coordinating the t-shirt design contest, etc.) The shirts came in on time and looked amazing.
