"Race entry fees were too high for the race we wanted to run in the Outerbanks, NC. Our solution? Create our own (even cooler race filled with silly obstacles) and just make our own darn t-shirts. Besides, people run races for shirts, right? Right. So here we are, in all our glory, wearing our awesome race t-shirts. The name of the house we always stay at is Terrapin Station (Go Terps!) so we thought it most fitting to name the ad-hoc race after our OBX home."
