"Located 15 miles south of Los Angeles, La Mirada High School is a fierce competitor of the NASA sponsored competition: Team America Rocket Challenge. Consisting of 10 seniors, the group landed themselves to the Nationals in Virginia due to an amazing locket launch. The group will be going to Virginia on May 10, 2013 to participate in the Finals for a chance to win $60,000, and a trip to the White House. "
