"We are the Global Public Health Brigades chapter at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. Since 2004, Global Brigades has mobilized thousands of university students and professionals to work with other community members to improve quality of life in under resourced regions while respecting local culture. Our chapter of Global Public Health Brigades is participating in a one-week volunteer program in Honduras from March 7-14, 2014. During this brigade, we as students will work with communities to implement in-home infrastructure to prevent illnesses and work with Honduras students and communities to construct latrines, eco-stove, showers, water storage units, and concrete floors. We raise all the funds ourselves in order to go on this trip. This picture shows us wearing the custom ink shirts we ordered for every participant of the brigade as we arrive at the Honduras Airport. The local people helped take this picture for us because for some of our brigaders, it was their first time out of America. In addition, we wanted to take a bunch of pictures to scrapbook our adventure in a different country. We really enjoyed these shirts because they were uniform and helped us stick together. CustomInk was a wonderful organization to work with because they got our orders in time and sent us our shirts in less than two weeks. We absolutely loved working with them that for our next trip to Honduras, with a group of new individuals, we plan on ordering shirts from CustomInk again because we love the quality and pricing of these shirts.
