"We ordered our shirts to show solidarity with our Philadelphia Federation of Teachers brothers and sisters as we fight to give our students all the programs that they deserve. Our school district is making drastic budget cuts that will affect school programs for our children. Each Friday we wear our shirts and conduct Informational Picketing where we ask our community to contact their local and state legislators to encourage them to properly fund our schools. Our kids deserve it!"
