"Back in March, my son, Finn, was admitted to AI DuPont Children's Hospital NICU after a rough delivery during birth. He fought for 25 days to get himself out of that NICU. He started off his life with a lot of unknowns about his health and overall quality of life. He proved every doctor wrong and is now a happy five month old little boy with a CLEAN BILL OF HEALTH. Each year, Nemours hosts a 5k to help raise money for "Kids with Confidence". These funds help families pay for "cosmetic" surgeries for their children... like cleft palates. We narrowly escaped this fate. As parents with a healthy child, it is our duty to help those parents who don't. As a team, we raised over $1000 for this cause and have decided to make this an annual event... of course, wearing our new shirts!"
