Eagle Rockbotics @ FRC Championship in Houston,Texas

"This photograph was taken at Discovery Green Park just outside of the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston,Texas USA where the 8 students featured represented Eagle Rock Jr./Sr. High School at the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) Championship as a rookie team. This was not only our first time at Championship but also the first time our team participated in the FRC as a whole. The team was established earlier this year and was advertised as a club at our high school in order to attract more students to join and start the school's robotics team. Championship brings teams from all over the world - from Mexico to Chile, to Israel and Turkey. We all come together to take part in what we call Co-opertition, a term coined to combine cooperation and competition where everyone helps each other get full strength so that they can compete to their best and fullest. We competed in the Los Angeles Regional where our team received the Rookie All-Star award and, by extension, an invitation to go to Houston and compete with the world's best robotics team. Unfortunately the shirts we had made at school for the LA Regional were marred after the event, but, lucky for us, CustomInk provided an easy way to upload our design and have them checked by professional designers to make them the best they could be. CustomInk also made ordering easy with a group order form that allowed everyone to pay for their shirts online which meant no hassle trying to collect from everyone. CustomInk even allowed our shirts to be ordered express so that we would have them in time for Championship. Our new club will no doubt refer to CustomInk for our future shirts when we compete not just next year, but the years to come.
