Dodgeball for Charity!

"This photograph was taken before our young and ambitious team of 8 took the court for a dodgeball tournament in town. The tournament was held via the local fire dept., and the money raised helped aid the Dawn Lafferty Hochsprung Scholarship- a scholarship named in honor or the brave principal that put her own life on the line for the sake of her elementary school, in Sandy Hook, CT. Dawn was from Naugatuck, CT, the town where the tournament was held, and also the hometown of us 8 players. We had a blast playing in the tournament, and it was even more rewarding to know where the proceeds were going. There was a 50/50 raffle done and the prize was $500 dollars!- the humble winner choose to give the winnings to the scholarship fund- a deed that many would agree Dawn herself would have done. Overall, we had more fun than we could have ever expected, and will be returning to the tournament and Custom Ink in the future!
