"We went to Louisiana and Mississippi in June of 2006 to help, minister to, and encourage the people devastated by Katrina. It was very eye-opening. Some people lost everything and still had mortgages to pay. We helped cut down trees and debris and did back yard Bible Clubs with kids in the neighborhoods. It was a blast. Our shirts were very loud and people noticed them. They asked what we were doing and we got to share with many people the love of Christ!"
