2 Grandfathers- both American Veterans (Army, WWII) and Navy (Vietnam) held the American flag and a line of young boys, proceeded to take off their hats, put their hands on their hearts and sing the National anthem. Every word.
My son's 7th birthday wish was to have all his classmates in matching jerseys for a parent vs. kids baseball game. The shirts were a hit... and contributed to a moment of rare patriotism across 3 generations.
