"Emily Stein, Age 5 is the most vivacious and inspirational person I know. Emily was diagnosed on Christmas Day last year with Type 1 Diabetes. While the T1D is not foreign to our family and we've always supported JDRF, this walk meant so much more to us, personally and emotionally for the family. As her parents, the outpouring of support was enormous and we are grateful to all of them. More important, for Emily it was a symbol that we all stand behind here in life and she has this immense support team that stands behind and supports here every day.
Emily doesn't let Diabetes get in her way and to a degree embraces what it throws here way. The team name , Emmy Bears was her creation as was the entire design of the shirt. The symbolism of the logo, a gummy bear, with a drop of blood a heart and a little bear inside is indicative of the love and sweetness that this child excudes in life every day and how much of an inspiration she is to me as her father, her family, friends and strangers. As for Custom Ink, I could not have found a company more in touch with and friendlier throughout the process. The personalized level of support, professionalism and time they spent during all aspects of the process was spectacular and something that is lacking in business today. Especially for a company that relies on a web presence, they have a customer for life and i will have no qualms about recommending them to people and using for my future needs.
